" My daughter Julie and her teammates at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida competed in the 2008 Kanga Cup. While she and her teammate are finishing their high school careers this year, they still talk about the experience in Australia with great affection. They loved the people there, the competition, and the chance to see Australia. The soccer experience was tremendous for the players and families, and so was the chance to get to know the Australian people. It truly fits in the category of "trip of a lifetime".

In the tournament final so many Australian teams came out to cheer our girls on, it was just awesome. To commemorate their tournament win in Caberra, special Kanga Cup rings were made here in the States for the St. Thomas girls. To this day, Julie still wears the ring with great regularity and with great pride.

St. Thomas recently won the Florida state championship and was just awarded the U.S. national championship in girls soccer, so I guess you can say with out any doubt, the best do come to play in the Kanga Cup! Best of luck in the 2011 tournament! "

"We really got a deeper understanding of the culture in Australia but the best thing for us was getting to spend time together," she said. "We have a young team and being able to go there and get close as a team, it's going to make us better this season."

".... this summers trip was something special, something different. My team mates and I, a group of 14 strong had the privellage of travelling "Down Under", clear across the world to Australia for the Kanga Cup Football (soccer) Tournament in Canberra, Australia. Just over 200 teams competed, but with our love of the game and hard work, our team came out as winners."

Ally Robau - St. Thomas Aquinas High School

"Each and every one of you was more than accomodating to each and every one of us. Everything was very organized and our tours to the Featherdale Wildlife Park, the shopping centers, the beach, the restaurants, Olympic Training Center, Bywong Mining Town, Snowy Mountains, Swans vs. Magpies, Blue Mountains, the authentic bar-bees (and let's not forget the winery...!) were fantastic. Our days and nights were filled with diversion due to the professionalism of your company."
